Condensing to target RNAs

Biomolecular condensates are found throughout eukaryotic cells and may be involved in a large range of biological processes. For example, ribonucleoprotein granules are biomolecular condensates that may regulate RNA processing and have a major role in RNA metabolism. Various tools can induce artificial biomolecular condensates with tuned properties, and Cochard et al. report a method to target RNA localization using engineered condensates with motor proteins.
