Industrial Engineering Student from FT UNS Awarded Panasonic Scholarship 2024

UNS – Fajri Nur Hidayah, an Industrial Engineering student at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, has been awarded the prestigious Panasonic Scholarship Award 2024. Fajri, a student from the batch 2020, is among ten students from various universities across Indonesia to receive this scholarship. The Panasonic Scholarship program is a testament to Panasonic Corporation’s dedication to supporting human resource development for societal advancement.

This scholarship is available to students pursuing Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Engineering, Management, and Accounting at Indonesian universities. General requirements for Bachelor’s degree students include being an Indonesian citizen, enrolled at a partner university, having completed six semesters (third year), maintaining a minimum GPA of 3,25 (on a 4,00 scale), not currently receiving any other scholarships, and demonstrating leadership qualities and a commitment to advancing the nation.

“I am extremely grateful and proud to receive the Panasonic Scholarship. This scholarship not only provides financial assistance but also motivates me to continue achieving and contributing to the nation. I hope to make the most of this opportunity to develop myself and my knowledge,” Fajri said, as quoted by ft.uns.ac.id on Wednesday (7/8/2024).

Through the Panasonic Scholarship, Panasonic Corporation aims to increase the number of educated experts who can contribute to the nation’s progress and development. Since its inception in 1999, the Panasonic Scholarship program has supported 186 students. This program does not obligate its recipients, known as Panasonic Scholarship Students (PSS), to work for Panasonic Corporation or its affiliates.
