Jacques Dubeau, Ph.D., is a consultant in radiation protection and radiation detector development with over 30 years of experience in these fields. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1992 from the Université de Montréal, Canada, and was later a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Research In Particle Physics, at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Over the years, as a consultant, he has worked on the space radiation effects on microelectronics, the development of tracking detectors for high energy physics and in the area of radiation protection in the medical and nuclear power industries. Other achievements include the development novel radiation dosimetry techniques now used at medical radiotherapy centers and inside nuclear power reactors. His email is [email protected].
