Prof. Steven Simoens is a senior full professor of health economics at KU Leuven. Steven carries out cost(-of-illness) analyses, economic evaluations and budget impact analyses for medicinal products. He is also interested in pharmaceutical market access, with a particular focus on oncology medicines, orphan medicines, generic and biosimilar medicines, vaccines, and cell and gene therapies.

Prof. Isabelle Huys is full professor at KU Leuven and specializes in intellectual property rights and regulatory sciences.
