Sex differences in incident atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease events among women and men with HIV: Erratum

There are a few inconsistencies between values stated in the text and in the tables of results in this article [1].

The hazard ratio for ASCVD comparing women to men in the last sentence of the results section of the abstract was “0.69 (95% CI 0.57, 0.84)” among those with HIV and not “0.70 (95% CI 0.58, 0.86)”, and the P-interaction value cited was = 0.002. and not =0.001. These values should also be corrected in the final sentence of the section “Sex differences in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease events” in the Results.

In the last sentence of the section “Sex difference in myocardial infarction, stroke, and lower extremity artery disease events” in Results, the women-to-men HR for stroke was “1.02 (95% CI: 0.76, 1.39)” and not “1.04 (95% CI: 0.77, 1.41)” among patients with HIV, and the P-value for interaction was =0.102 and not =0.087. The women-to-men HR for LEAD events was “0.85 (95% CI: 0.50, 1.45)” and not “0.88 (95% CI: 0.52, 1.50)” among patients with HIV, and the P-value for interaction was =0.140, and not =0.119.
