Maureen P. Cooper, MS, currently works as a Clinical Nurse Manager at Corewell Health's Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI. She presently manages a surgical short stay unit for total joint arthroplasty, spine surgery, and plastic surgery patients in an acute care hospital setting. Prior to her clinical manager role, Maureen was a clinical nurse specialist and total joint coordinator for a 100-bed orthopaedic unit. In the past Maureen has served with the ONCB as an Item Writer, Test Committee member, Exam Prep Committee Chair, Director and now President.
