Coincident with International Women's Day on March 8th, 2023, the United Nations hosted the 67th Annual Commission of the Status of Women. This annual two-week event, held at United Nations headquarters in New York city, brings together representatives from United Nations member states, civic societies, non-governmental organizations, and United Nations entities, to discuss progress and gaps in the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
