Objectives: Patient education is key to ERAS - supporting their preparation for surgery and empowering them on their post-operative recovery. However, there is currently little evidence underpinning its format, timing & delivery. Pre-operative information provision can be disjointed, exacerbated by multiple teams involved in a renal transplant pathway. We explored our renal transplant patients’ understanding of their perioperative journey & their quality of recovery, to inform the development of an ERAS pathway.
