Remember me
“Where in the world are the whales?” is the question at the heart of a brand-new family-friendly theatre show at the University of Plymouth, this week.
The Whale’s Tale a thoughtful, energetic show about whales, fishing villages, and protecting the oceans we all rely on.
Using puppetry, original music and innovative storytelling, the show connects the stories of a young humpback whale whose mother is lost to a ship strike, and a little girl in a fishing village without any fish.Theatre maker, puppeteer and performer Edie Edmundson from Totnes has secured funding from Arts Council England and Whale and Dolphin Conservation for the show, which aims to raise awareness of the issues facing whales..
Prepare to be surprised, entertained, and inspired at the University’s venue, The House, on Wednesday 30 October from 3pm.
