Contact leukoderma, also known as contact vitiligo, chemical leukoderma, or chemical or contact depigmentation, is an acquired cutaneous pigment loss resulting from repeated exposure to specific chemical compounds, particularly certain phenol and catechol derivatives. Another common cause is an allergy to nickel.
