Qatar University (QU) organized an event to honor 121 entities from various sectors in the country. This annual event recognizes the employers who have collaborated with QU through providing its students with internship, sponsorship, and job opportunities.

QU President Dr. Omar Al-Ansari said in his opening remarks, “I am pleased to welcome you to the Employer Recognition Ceremony, where we honor our collaborating partners and express our gratitude and appreciation for their effective role in supporting the journey of Qatar University, and their valuable contributions to enriching university life, the educational process and the student experience.”

He adds, “Collaborative initiatives between Qatar University and private and public institutions help to uncover students' interests, whether in academia, research, or extracurricular activities. Our partners enhance student success opportunities, introduce them to future academic options, and provide suitable employment opportunities. It also opens the door for joint programs, field training, research collaboration, job exchange, curriculum integration, and more. This is essential for building a more advanced and developed society capable of coping with rapid changes in the face of contemporary realities. These transformations necessitate integration and collaboration among various institutions, a process that cannot be achieved without strengthening partnerships, cooperation, and communication among them. Each of us shares the desire and ambition to contribute to building a better future for education and society.”

He concluded, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our esteemed partners in various sectors of the job market. Together, we contribute to building the future of the nation, enhancing its position, and increasing its capabilities, each in their respective fields.”
