Four palliative treatments for malignant gastric outlet obstruction (GOO) were compared in this network meta-analysis. Studies investigating gastrojejunostomy, endoscopic ultrasound-guided gastroenterostomy (EUS-GE), stomach-partitioning gastrojejunostomy (PGJ), and endoscopic stenting in a total of 3617 patients were included. Efficacy and safety were defined as clinical success, 30-day mortality, reintervention rate, and length of hospital stay. The most effective and safest treatment strategies were PGJ and EUS-GE, and these approaches should therefore be considered as the first treatment options for malignant GOO.
